Phil Moffett is a Sonic Wizard and true innovator of the guitar as an instrument. He uses both hands simultaneously to create a bass line, melody, harmonics and rhythmic embellishments on the body of the guitar. His performance is out of the ordinary, his music compositions are incredible! – taking the listener to a place of limitless sounds of the world. “Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything”. Plato

Phil Moffett has been actively composing for 9 years and has explored many different styles of playing as of classical, blues, contemporary, folk, country and flamenco. Phil Moffett is an original musician who profoundly fuses his authentic “slap harmonic” compositions with worldly styles marking him a highly influential guitarist in the world of music in South Africa.
